The mandate of New Season Christian Center is to help
the saints of God mature in the things of God. Although we preach/teach
the full counsel of God, we do place high emphasis on the prophetic
(what God is saying to the Church today), spiritual/natural authority
and order, the holiness of God, the practical aspects of the word of God
and how to apply the word to every area of our lives (spirit, soul, and
body); and, the unity of believers in the universal church.
New Season Christian Center is not part of any denominational
movement but we do recognize all Christian denominations as “part” of
the universal body of Christ. We do adhere to the Biblical standard of
establishing the church of God upon the foundation of his holy apostles
and prophets (Eph. 2:19-22). We also believe in the authority of the
local pastors as overseers of the flock (1 Peter 5:12).
We believe as the Scriptures state “God is the same yesterday, today,
and forever”, but we as believers do change and thus we should ever
increase in wisdom, knowledge, and revelation of the Lord for as long as
we are in the body. Our twelve-week new member classes have been
developed to assist in that process.
Although some of the subject matter
may appear rudimentary to the mature saint, our aim is to ensure that
all new members of New Season Christian Center have a clear
perspective of where we stand on certain Biblical principles. Thus, this
will enable us as a local body to operate in unity so that we may be
prepared for various works of service.
